Chrysler offers a credit card called the FCA DrivePlus Mastercard by First Bankcard which allows customers to redeem points for parts, service, or a new Chrysler, Jeep, Fiat, Ram or Dodge vehicle. The Mastercard can allow customers to save money when purchasing a vehicle at any Chrysler dealership.

How does it work? You can earn five points per dollar (5% back) on qualifying purchases made at FCA dealerships, which includes: vehicles, parts, services, repairs/maintenance and accessories. You earn two points per dollar (2% back) on qualifying travel or gas purchases and one point per dollar (1% back) on all other spending, making it a great cashback credit card with these features alone.

The FCA DrivePlus Mastercard has its perks. For example, if you spend $100 on Chrysler products within the first billing cycle, then you receive a $100 statement credit. Also, if you spend $7500 within the first year, you get a $1000 bonus certificate. When you redeem your points at a dealership, you get double the points! Also, no limit on points. This is a deal you cannot pass up.

The points do expire on a first-in, first-out basis after seven years. Unfortunately there are additional fees such as: late payments, a balance transfer fee (5% of each transfer), a foreign transaction fee (3% of each transaction in U.S. dollars) and a balance transfer APR (16.24% – 27.24% based on your creditworthiness). There is a zero percent intro purchase APR, for the first six months.

The Lawton Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram team would like to congratulate Ms. Alicia Wood for winning our January 2019 Teacher of the Month award!

Ms. Wood teaches 7th and 8th grade Reading and works as the school counselor in the Chattanooga district. She chose to pursue her master’s degree in school counseling because she is passionate about helping students navigate through life’s difficulties.

This is Ms. Wood’s first Teacher of the Month award and we here at Lawton Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram think it is well deserved! Of course, her fellow faculty and staff thought it was well deserved, too since the Lawton Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Teacher of the Month is nominated by their peers.

“I love teaching at a rural school because I am able to develop lasting relationships with all my children,” said Ms. Wood, “Seeing them grow and mature over the years is such a blessing.”

Lawton Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram team members have the pleasure of serving lunch to service members and their families once a month at the Old Impact Center on Fort Sill Base in Lawton, Oklahoma. Through our partnership with the USO of Oklahoma, the service men and women are able to enjoy a free, homemade meal!

This week, we set up a salad bar and loaded baked potato bar then sat down with our service men and women for friendly conversations and delicious food. We’re excited to continue our partnership with the USO of Oklahoma in 2019 by covering luncheon costs and cooking some lunch up!

FCA Celebrates 35 Years of Minivans

Unless you’re a parent trekking to and from soccer games to church to piano practice and back, you’re probably not a giant fan of minivans. A minivan isn’t stylish or designed to impress, it’s just a necessity for some families, yet slowly becoming rejected for spacious SUVs.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles does not want to see the minivan fade away, though, since they are the proud creators of the vehicle class that debuted back in 1984. In 2018, FCA sold over 270,000 minivans thanks to the Chrysler Pacifica and Dodge Grand Caravan. FCA was the first to make a hybrid minivan, the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, and families still love to give this van a test drive when they visit Lawton Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram.

Lawton Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram donates to the New Directions Women’s Shelter

What a wonderful day it was delivering all of our donations from our Holiday Drive benefiting Marie Detty’s New Directions Women’s Shelter!

Lawton Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram collected donations for Marie Detty’s Lawton Women’s Shelter from Monday, November 19th to Wednesday, December 19th. This local Lawton women’s shelter is open 24 hours a day to house women and children that need emergency services such as food and clothing, safety planning, transportation in Lawton, domestic violence education, and more.

Our dealership team loved being able to recognize all the good the shelter staff and volunteers do for women and children in our community by donating supplies such as diapers, laundry detergent, shampoo, soap, lotion, socks, hangers, and more toiletries. We filled up a whole truck bed full of gifts for the Marie Detty New Directions Women’s Shelter!

On Friday, December 21st, our General Manager had the pleasure of personally delivering the truck bed full of supplies and gifts to the residents and workers at the New Directions Women’s Shelter. It was so great to see the bright smiles on the faces in the shelter! We hope the residents, staff, and volunteers had a happy holiday and are looking forward to a great new year in 2019.

If you or someone you know needs transitional individual and family housing, permanent individual and family housing, relocation services, case management or just someone to talk to, Lawton Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram highly recommends the services of Marie Detty’s New Directions Women’s Shelter in Lawton, Oklahoma. At the shelter, women are offered job skill training, parenting skill training, and health and wellness programs. Children are offered tutoring services, a school liason, youth counseling, and after-school programs. 

These services, as well as the shelter’s services for non-residents, are a blessing to the Lawton community. If you do not want to reside at the shelter, but still need help, the New Directions Women’s Shelter provides non-resident counseling, peer support groups, domestic violence workshops, couseling for friends and family, and sexual violence support groups.
