It’s powered by an available High-Output 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel I6 engine delivering 430 maximum horsepower paired with the TorqueFlite HD eight-speed automatic transmission and best-in-class available 1,075 pound-feet of base diesel torque. The HD Ram 2500 gasoline model is powered by a 6.4L V8 HEMI producing 410 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque as an alternative powertrain option. Towing capacity ranges from 10,590 lb. on the Power Wagon to 17,540 lb. with the 6.4L V8 and up to 20,000 lb. with the 6.7L Cummins turbodiesel, while maximum payload reaches 4,420 lb. with the 6.4L V8 and 3,150 lb. with the diesel engine. New for 2026, Ram introduces value-focused Black Express and Warlock sport truck versions to the 2500 lineup. This marks the first time the brand has used these model names with its heavy-duty trucks. Warlock trims feature a black grille surround, flares, and bumpers, Warlock bedside decals, 20-inch diamond cut wheels wrapped in 34-inch Goodyear Duratrac all-terrain tires, and Power Convex trailer tow mirrors. The Ram 2500 is available in Diamond Black, Bright White, Granite Crystal, Silver Zynith, Forged Blue, Flame Red, Ceramic Grey, and Molten Red exterior colors. The Black Express configuration includes a sport performance hood, body-colored bumpers and grille surround, Power Convex trailer tow mirrors, 20-inch black wheels, and black tube cab-length side steps. The RAM 2500 also features redesigned LED headlamps and fog lights, a prominent radiator grille, and modernized shields, displaying muscular and bold characteristics including the practical RamBox cargo management system, telescopic rearview mirrors, and side steps. Bed configurations include a 6-foot, 4-inch short bed measuring 76.3 inches in length and an 8-foot bed extending to 98.3 inches.
