It’s official; the polls are in and the Chrysler Pacifica has been named the 2017 Utility Vehicle of the Year at the North American International Auto Show on Monday in Detroit.

Edging out other top candidates such as the Mazda CX-9 and Jaguar F-Pace, the Pacifica won this award in the first year of its induction. The Utility Vehicle of the Year award recognizes excellent vehicles for their superior design, safety, performance, driver satisfaction, value and innovation. Making the Pacifica a safe bet for Oklahoma drivers.

The new car hosts a 3.6-liter V-6 engine capable of 287-hp and 18/28 mpg city/highway. The Pacifica also has a plug-in hybrid option that has an EPA-reported 84 MPG combined.

The award-winning vehicle also includes numerous features such as an in-dash LCD monitor and sound system, wireless streaming, voice activation, and a completely updated interior. Some of its several safety features include an Electronic Stability Control system, an ABS and Driveline Traction Control system, side impact beams, dual side driver and passenger airbags, and plenty of room for the whole family.

The base model of the Chrysler Pacifica begins at $29,590 without options. For more information or if you have any questions, please call us at Lawton Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM.
