2021 Jeep Cherokee Engine Offerings
The Jeep Cherokee offers three different engine types depending on the trim level you purchase. The standard engine is 2.4-liter four-cylinders and produces 180 horsepower and 171 lb.-ft. of torque. The 3.2-liter V6 engine which produces 271 horsepower and 239 lb.-ft. of torque is available on The Latitude Plus and standard on the Latitude LUX, the Trailhawk, and the Limited. The 3.2-liter V6 also has a towing capacity of 4,500 lbs. Finally, the top engine is a 2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 270 horsepower, 295 lb.-ft. of torque, and 4,000 lbs towing capacity and that is standard with the High Altitude. All three options come standard with a 9-speed automatic transmission.
